Motorcycle, Train Collide in Fatal Santa Rosa Accident

Santa Rosa, CA (November 13, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with a train in Santa Rosa. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of November 13 on Guerneville Road.

A motorcyclist was speeding as he approached the train crossing. Traffic was stopped for the downed crossing arms. The motorcyclist went around the stopped traffic and around the down arms. He never attempted to stop when he collided with one of the cars of the SMART train.

The motorcyclist, an unidentified man, died at the accident scene. Nobody aboard the train was injured.

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months.
