Motorcycle, Acura Collide in Fatal Ramona Accident

Fatal Accident

Ramona, CA (September 8, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Ramona. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of September 8 on Highland Valley Road.

A motorcycle and an Acura Integra collided on Highland Valley Road near Sky Valley Drive. The driver of the Acura called 911. Paramedics performed CPR on the injured rider, who died after the crash.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
