Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Interstate 15 Near Del Lago Boulevard


Debris Hits Motorcycle in Fatal Escondido Accident

Escondido, CA (August 17, 2020) – A motorcyclist died in a crash in Escondido. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of August 17 on Interstate 15.

The crash happened on Interstate 15, near Del Lago Boulevard. A 69-year-old man was riding a BMW motorcycle when he was hit by debris by a sedan. The motorcycle rider lost control and crashed. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The driver of the sedan momentarily stopped and then drove away.
