Elk Grove, CA (November 2, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Elk Grove. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of November 2 on Interstate 5.

A 63-year-old man from Lodi was riding a motorcycle in the northbound lanes of Interstate 5, near Elk Grove Boulevard. The man rear-ended a Dodge pickup truck and was ejected from the motorcycle. He landed in the adjacent lane. He was then hit by a big rig. The man died at the accident scene.

The driver of the Dodge remained at the accident scene. However, the driver of the big rig fled the scene.
