Motorcyclist Killed in Crash on Interstate 680 Near Mission Boulevard


Motorcycle Rear-Ends Car in Fatal Fremont Accident

Fremont, CA (May 7, 2020) – A motorcyclist was killed in a rear-end crash in Fremont. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of May 7 on Interstate 680. 

A Chevrolet Impala was stopped for traffic in the southbound lanes of Interstate 680, near Mission Boulevard. A Fremont man riding a Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle was speeding behind the car and could not stop in time. The Kawasaki rear-ended the Impala, ejecting the rider onto the road. The rider was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
