Teen Dies in Motorcycle-SUV Accident in El Dorado Hills
El Dorado Hills, CA (April 23, 2018) – An accident has resulted in fatality for an 18-year-old man killed while riding his motorcycle. The fatal crash occurred on the morning of April 23 on Silva Valley Parkway in El Dorado Hills.
The teen was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle south on Silva Valley Parkway. He was approaching Timberline Ridge Drive in El Dorado Hills when a 77-year-old man driving a Chevy Tahoe failed to see him. The Tahoe, which was in the northbound lane of Silva Valley Parkway, turned in front of the Kawasaki.
While on Silva Valley Parkway, the Kawasaki collided with the passenger side of the Tahoe. Despite wearing safety gear, the motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries. The driver of the Tahoe suffered minor injuries.
Both men are from El Dorado Hills. Their identities are being withheld at this time.
The El Dorado Hills crash is still under investigation. It’s possible that the driver could face criminal charges.
