Clovis, CA (September 27, 2019) – A teen was killed when a big rig ran a stop sign in Clovis. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of September 27 at Mountain View and Clovis avenues.

Olivia Mendoza, 19, was killed when a big rig ran a stop sign at the intersection. The big rig collided with Mendoza’s car. She died instantly. 

The big rig then hit another big rig head-on. Neither big rig driver was injured. 

The driver of the big rig, Andre Hill, is from Maryland. He was allegedly under the influence of marijuana at the time of the crash. Hill was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter, vehicle manslaughter with gross negligence and felony DUI. Bail is set at $98,500.
