Victim Killed in Fatal Las Lomas Accident

Pedestrian Accident

Las Lomas, CA (November 4, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed in a crash in Las Lomas. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of November 4 on Hall Road.

The pedestrian was walking on Hall Road, near Willow Road, when they were hit by a Toyota pickup truck. The impact knocked down the pedestrian. The driver of the truck stopped to call for help. Unfortunately, the victim died at the accident scene.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
