Pedestrian Injured in Crash at Nautilus Street and La Jolla Boulevard


Pickup Hits Victim in San Diego Accident

San Diego, CA (August 4, 2020) – A man was injured in a pedestrian crash in San Diego. The accident occurred on the afternoon of August 4 at Nautilus Street and La Jolla Boulevard.

A Toyota Prius ran a red light at the intersection. The Prius then broadsided a Ford F-150 pickup and it spun toward a corner, hitting a 77-year-old man. The man suffered a broken left leg and other major injuries. He was taken to a local hospital. 

The driver of the Prius, a 76-year-old man, was treated for a minor cut on his face. The driver of the pickup, a 63-year-old man, was not injured.
