Woman Hit by Pickup Truck in Oakland Accident

Oakland, CA (April 7, 2020) – A woman suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian crash in Oakland. The accident occurred on the evening of April 7 on the 880 Freeway.

A woman was crossing the northbound 880 Freeway at 29th Avenue when she was hit by a Ford F-250 pickup truck. The woman landed on the right side of the road. She was taken to a local hospital with major injuries. The driver of the pickup truck stopped in the center divide.

Zantac Lawsuits: A Status Update

Zantac (ranitidine) lawsuits in federal court are part of multi-district litigation (MDL) against Sanofi and Boehringer Ingelheim. The case is being handled in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida and has been assigned to Judge Robin Rosenberg. There were 291 cases in the MDL as of August 6. This number will probably greatly increase in the future because so many people have taken the popular heartburn drug.
