Pedestrian Injured in Crash on Alta View Drive

Victim Suffers Head Injury in San Diego Accident

San Diego, CA (May 23, 2020) – A pedestrian was injured in a crash in San Diego. The accident occurred on the evening of May 23 on Alta View Drive.

A police officer tried to pull over a man for speeding. The suspect failed to pull over and a pursuit ensued. The man lost control of his vehicle as he turned onto Alta View Drive. He veered off the road and hit a pedestrian standing on the path walk.

The pedestrian suffered multiple injuries, including a moderate head injury. The person was taken to a local hospital.

The car kept going, hitting two parked cars and an electrical box. Both the driver and a passenger attempted to flee the accident scene, but were later caught by police.
