Sacramento, CA (July 8, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after walking in front of a vehicle in Sacramento. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of July 8 at 68th Avenue and Power Inn Road.

The pedestrian was talking to someone on the sidewalk of Power Inn Road when she suddenly walked into the road, right in front of a Ford Escape. The driver of the Ford collided with the pedestrian. She died at the accident scene. The driver remained at the crash scene.

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months.
