Los Angeles, CA (February 6, 2020) – A person was killed in a pedestrian crash in Los Angeles. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of February 6 at Avalon Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway.

The pedestrian was crossing the intersection when they were hit by a car. The victim died at the accident scene. The driver stopped and remained at the crash site.

The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
