Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Business 80 Near P Street

Gustavo Sampedrosanche Arrested in Fatal Sacramento Hit and Run Accident

Sacramento, CA (June 13, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in a crash in Sacramento. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of June 13 on Business 80.

A pedestrian was seen yelling at cars and running in and out of traffic on northbound Business 80 near P Street. The pedestrian was hit by a silver Volkswagen, but the vehicle drove away. Police later pulled over the Volkswagen on southbound Business 80.

The driver, Gustavo Sampedrosanche, 44, told police he knew he hit someone but got scared and fled when he saw police. He was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail. The pedestrian died from their injuries.
