Pedestrian Killed in Crash on East San Ysidro Boulevard

SUV Driver Flee Scene of Fatal San Diego Accident

San Diego, CA (October 15, 2020) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian crash in San Diego. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of October 15 on East San Ysidro Boulevard.

A woman was crossing a crosswalk in the 200 block of East San Ysidro Boulevard. At the same time, a gold SUV had the right of way. The woman walked in front of the SUV as the driver drove forward. The woman was knocked to the ground. The SUV driver ran over her and fled the crash site. The victim, a woman in her 40s, died at the accident scene. Police are still looking for the driver of the SUV.
