Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Highway 273 Near Buenaventura Boulevard


Car Hits Woman in Fatal Redding Accident 

Redding, CA (May 18, 2020) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian crash in Redding. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of May 18 on Highway 273.

Gessica Leuscher, 25 of Redding, was driving on northbound Highway 273, near Buenaventura Boulevard, when a pedestrian ran in front of her. She could not stop in time and hit the pedestrian. The victim, an unidentified woman, died at the accident scene.
