Man Hit by Pickup Truck in Fatal San Jacinto Accident

San Jacinto, CA (November 5, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed in a crash in San Jacinto. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of November 5 on Park Avenue.

A Chevrolet pickup truck was traveling east on Park Avenue when it hit a pedestrian. The victim, an unidentified man, died at the accident scene. Police interviewed the driver about the events leading up to the crash.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
