Woman Hit by Car in Hit and Run Accident in San Diego
San Diego, CA (August 25, 2019) – A woman suffered serious injuries when was hit by a car in San Diego. The accident occurred on the morning of August 25 on Black Mountain Road.
The crash happened in the 13700 block of Black Mountain Road. A Nissan Sentra was heading south on Black Mountain Road when it drifted to the right and hit the curb. The vehicle then went onto the sidewalk and hit a fence. It then hit a pedestrian, a woman in her 30s.
The woman was unconscious when emergency crews arrived. She suffered major injuries to her face and was taken to a local hospital. The driver of the Nissan fled the accident scene, but was later caught by police and arrested.
