Skateboarder Hit by Bus in Fatal East Los Angeles Accident

East Los Angeles, CA (August 9, 2020) – A man was killed in a crash in Los Angeles. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of August 9 at City Terrace Drive and Pomeroy Avenue.

A skateboarder, identified as Peter Timoteo Smith Padilla, 26, of Pomona, slammed into the side of a Metro bus at the intersection. He was then run over by a car. Padilla died at the accident scene. The bus driver pulled over about 30 minutes later.
