Man Fleeing from Police Killed in Orangevale Accident

Orangevale, CA (November 6, 2018) – A man was killed while fleeing from police in a chase in Orangevale. The fatal accident happened on the evening of November 6 at Greenback Lane and Hazel Avenue.

Tuesday night was killed when his car was T-boned by a car in Orangevale, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies said they started chasing a Volkswagen sedan after they saw it on Highway 50 going twice the speed the limit. The suspect’s car was T-boned by a silver sedan at Greenback Lane and Hazel Avenue. The car hit the driver’s side door, flipping over the Volkswagen and killing the driver.  

The driver of the sedan was limping in pain. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
