San Diego, CA (May 28, 2019) – A woman was arrested after hitting a police vehicle in San Diego. The accident occurred on the evening of May 28 on Interstate 5.

A woman in a Volkswagen Jetta was traveling north on Interstate 5, near Palm Avenue, she hit a parked patrol car on the side of the road. The Jetta spun out of control and hit a guardrail.

Law enforcement conducted a field sobriety test on the driver and she was arrested for DUI. The police officer complained of pain and was taken to a local hospital.
