Car Overturns in Fatal Yermo Accident

Yermo, CA (January 2, 2020) – A man was killed in a crash in Yermo. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of January 2 on Interstate 15.

Ray Sherrill Flanders, 83, of La Palma, was driving a Mercedes on northbound Interstate 15, near Minneola Road, when he collided with another vehicle. The Mercedes lost control and went off the road. It then overturned before stopping in a desert area. Flanders died at the accident scene.
