Bicycle, Car Collide in Los Osos Accident

Los Osos, CA (October 7, 2020) – A man was injured in a crash in Los Osos. The accident occurred on the morning of October 7 on Los Osos Valley Road.

Robert Conlen, 66, of Los Osos, was riding a bicycle on Los Osos Valley Road, near Sombrero Drive, when he was hit by a Hyundai Elantra. He was taken to a local hospital with a severe leg injury. 

The driver, Erin Aversano, 49, of San Luis Obispo, fled the accident scene. She was later arrested. She faces charges of DUI and hit and run.
