Rollover Crash at Snelling Road and East Youd Road Causes Minor Injuries


Woman Arrested for DUI in Snelling Accident

Snelling, CA (March 29, 2020) – A rollover crash in Snelling has caused minor injuries. The accident occurred on the afternoon of March 29 at Snelling Road and East Youd Road.

A 19-year-old woman from Merced was driving a Honda sedan southbound on Snelling Road and was carrying four passengers: a 21-year-old man, two 19-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy. The driver moved over to pass a slower vehicle in front.

The front passenger grabbed the steering wheel for unknown reasons and turned the wheel to the right. The driver lost control and went off the road. The car went into a field and overturned several times. 

Everyone involved suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital. The driver was arrested for felony DUI.

FDA Issues Warnings To Two Manufacturers Of Breast Implants

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) just issued warning letters to two manufacturers of breast implants for failing to comply with regulatory requirements. The FDA sent a warning letter to Allergan for failure to comply with requirements to conduct post-approval studies assessing the risks and long-term safety of two separate breast implant models. Both breast implant models were voluntarily recalled last year. The FDA also sent a warning letter to Ideal Implant Incorporated. That letter was sent for failing to comply with adverse event reporting requirements and current good manufacturing practice requirements. The letter was prompted by an inspection which was conducted earlier in 2020.
