Yucca Valley, CA (October 7, 2020) – A woman was injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Yucca Valley. The accident occurred on the afternoon of October 7 at Highway 62 and Balsa Avenue.

suffered unspecified injuries and was trapped in her vehicle following a chain-reaction accident on Wednesday, October 7th, on Highway 62 and Balsa Avenue in Yucca Valley.

Amber Rivera, 22, of Yucca Valley, was traveling east on Highway 62 in a Ford Taurus when she ran a red light. Rosana Favre, 35, of Joshua Tree, was heading north on Balsa Avenue in a Toyota Camry when the two vehicles collided. A Jeep Cherokee driven by Rudolph Lechugo, 85, of Yucca Valley, was behind Favre and he rear-ended her vehicle. 

Favre was trapped inside her Camry. She had to be rescued by firefighters using the Jaws of Life. She suffered unknown injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
