Santa Rosa Water Worker Killed at Laguna Treatment Plant

Employee Electrocuted in Fatal Santa Rosa Accident

Santa Rosa, CA (September 30, 2020) – A Santa Rosa Water worker died after they were electrocuted while working on a job. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of September 30 on Llano Road.

The employee was working at Laguna Treatment Plant in Santa Rosa. They were working on an energized subpanel when they were electrocuted.

Emergency crews responded to the Laguna Treatment Plant and pronounced the worker dead. They reported the employee’s death to Cal/OSHA. Cal/OSHA will investigate the employee’s death. The city of Santa Rosa and the county coroner’s office are also investigating the fatality.
