38 Students Taken to Hospital in San Diego Accident

San Diego, CA (December 19, 2018) – A car rear-ended a school bus in San Diego, and 38 students were taken to a local hospital. The accident occurred on the morning of December 19 on Genesee Avenue.

The students were on their way to school when an Infiniti sedan rear-ended the bus near State Route 52. The driver was a woman in her 70s who may have suffered from a medical condition at the time of the accident.

There were 38 University City High School students on the bus. While none suffered serious injuries, all were taken to a local hospital to get checked out.
