Teen Carjacking Suspect Leads Police on Chase, Causes Arcadia Accident

Arcadia, CA (November 30, 2019) – Several people were injured in a crash caused by a carjacker in Arcadia. The accident occurred on the evening of November 30 at Colorado Boulevard and Michillinda Avenue.

The chase started when officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop. Instead, the car took off, ran a red light and crashed into another car at the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Michillinda Avenue.

It was determined that the car was stolen. Two people inside were arrested, while a third person fled the accident scene on foot. Two people inside the suspect vehicle were detained while a third person fled the scene Those inside the other vehicle were hospitalized with minor to severe injuries.
