3 Others Suffer Serious Injuries in Fatal Yucca Valley Accident

Yucca Valley, CA (May 27, 2019) – A woman was killed and three others were injured in a rear-end crash in Yucca Valley. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of May 27 at Old Woman Springs Road and Terra Vista Road.

Sharon Meler, 84, of Yucca Valley was driving a Subaru Impreza and was waiting to turn left when she was rear-ended by a Ford pickup truck. The impact forced the Subaru into oncoming traffic and collided with a Cadillac.

Meler was taken to a local hospital, where she later died. Three people inside the Cadillac were hospitalized with serious injuries.
