Bakersfield, CA (August 27, 2019) – A head-on crash in Bakersfield has killed two people and injured three others. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of August 27 on Bear Mountain Boulevard.

The crash happened when a Toyota Corolla driven by Juan Aztudillo Lopez veered into oncoming traffic, hitting a PT Cruiser. A passenger in the PT Cruiser, Soledad Paniagua, 50, of McFarland, died in the crash. Lopez was also killed. Three other occupants of the PT Cruiser were injured. They were taken to a local hospital.
