Steve Grillos Killed in Crash at I and 6th Streets


2 Vehicles Collide in Fatal Modesto Accident

Modesto, CA (February 9, 2021) – An elderly man died hours after a crash in Modesto. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of February 9 at I and 6th streets.

Steve Grillos, 93, was driving a Subaru on 6th Street. When he entered the intersection, he collided with a GMC truck. Grillos had suffered minor injuries, but he declined treatment. Six hours later, he suffered a medical emergency. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the friends and loved ones of Steve Grillos.
