Store Clerk Injured in Shooting at Alpine Liquor Store

3 Men at Large in Big Bear Lake Incident

Big Bear Lake, CA (September 7, 2020) – A liquor store clerk was injured in an armed robbery in Big Bear Lake. The incident occurred on the evening of September 7 at Alpine Liquor Store, located on Big Bear Boulevard.

Three men entered the store with a handgun, demanding money from the cash register. The employee and suspects argued and it escalated into a physical altercation. One man fired the handgun, hitting the employee in the leg.

The clerk was airlifted to a trauma center to be treated for the injury. The three men fled the scene on foot. Surveillance video captured the incident, but police have not yet found the suspects.
