Police Searching for Vehicle That Hit 4th Grader in Fresno Accident

Fresno, CA (June 6, 2019) – A 4th grader was injured in a hit and run crash in Fresno. The accident occurred on the morning of June 6 at Fort Washington and Champlain avenues.

The Valley Oak Elementary School student was walking to school when the crash happened. The 4th grader was in a crosswalk and crossing the intersection when they were hit by a car. The vehicle, a red Toyota Celica or Corolla, fled the accident scene. The student was not seriously injured.
