Susanna Angeles, Eric Anthony Carrillo Killed in Crash on Highway 126 Near Spalding Drive


3 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Fillmore Accident 

Fillmore, CA (February 21, 2021) – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Fillmore. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of February 21 on Highway 126.

Susanna Angeles, 34, of Fowler, was traveling on eastbound Highway 126 in a Smart Fortwo. At the same time, Eric Anthony Carrillo, 27, of Oxnard, was traveling on westbound Highway 126, near Spalding Drive. His BMW 325i crossed the centerline and the two vehicles collided head-on. The BMW continued and hit a Chevrolet Avalanche head-on.

Both Angeles and Carrillo were killed in the crash. Angeles’ passenger, a 25-year-old Fresno man, was ejected from the vehicle. He was hospitalized with major injuries. Two occupants of the Chevrolet, a 62-year-old Santa Clarita woman and a 57-year-old Acton man, suffered minor injuries.
