Glendale, CA (August 23, 2019) – A teen boy was injured in a DUI pedestrian crash in Glendale. The accident occurred on the evening of August 23 on Verdugo Road.

The driver of a Subaru failed to stop at a crosswalk in the 2800 block of Verdugo Road. He hit a 13-year-old boy, who suffered critical injuries and was taken to a local hospital. 

The driver, 63-year-old Christopher Dean Carone, had a blood alcohol level of .30%, which is nearly four times the legal limit. He is facing felony drunk driving charges.
