14-Year-Old Suffers Minor Injuries in Angels Camp Accident

Angels Camp, CA (January 10, 2019) – A teen girl was injured in a possible hit and run accident in Angels Camp. The crash happened on the morning of January 10 on San Joaquin Street.

The 14-year-old girl was hit by a car on San Joaquin Street, near Mark Twain Elementary School. She was walking to school when she was sideswiped by the passenger side of a car.

The girl suffered minor injuries and was treated at the accident scene. The female driver of the vehicle did stop at the crash scene and check on the child. She then got back into her vehicle and left. However, the accident is still being treated as a possible hit and run.

The woman is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, 125 pounds, with brown hair tied into a bun. She was wearing black sweats, a dark sweatshirt, and Ugg boots. Her vehicle was described as a dark-colored sedan.
