Girl Arrested for Vehicular Manslaughter in Fatal Santa Rosa Accident

Santa Rosa, CA (July 1, 2019) – A 16-year-old girl was killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Santa Rosa. The fatal accident occurred just after midnight on July 1 at Skyfarm Drive and Thomas Lake Harris Drive.

The crash happened when the 16-year-old female driver of a Lincoln MKZ lost control while making a left-hand turn at Skyfarm Drive and Thomas Lake Harris Drive. The car was airborne as it went over a curb and across a sidewalk. It then went down an embankment, hitting three trees. 

The driver suffered minor injuries. The two female passengers were ejected from the Lincoln. Both were taken to a local hospital, where one died. The victim was a 16-year-old girl.
