Car Hits Guardrail, Truck in Fatal Barstow Accident

Barstow, CA (November 4, 2019) – A teen was killed in a crash in Barstow. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of November 4 on the 15 Freeway.

An 18-year-old girl from Apple Valley was driving a Pontiac Bonneville on the 15 Freeway, near Lenwood Road. For unknown reasons, she lost control and hit a guardrail. She was then hit by a Freightliner truck.

The Pontiac went off the roadway and landed in the desert. The girl was taken to a local hospital, where she later died.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months.
