Teen Killed in Crash on 405 Freeway Near Victory Boulevard


Fatal Van Nuys Accident Ruled a Suicide

Van Nuys, CA (July 7, 2020) – A teen was killed in a crash in Van Nuys. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of July 7 on the 405 Freeway.

A 17-year-old boy from Valencia was bit by a car on the southbound 405 Freeway, near Victory Boulevard. He parked his car on the right shoulder and intentionally ran into traffic. The boy died from his injuries. His death was ruled a suicide by the coroner’s office.
