Teen Killed in Crash on Monte Vista Avenue

5 Injured in Fatal Montclair Accident

Montclair, CA (July 5, 2020) – A teen was killed in a wrong-way crash in Montclair. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of July 5 on Monte Vista Avenue.

A 14-year-old passenger died following an alleged wrong-way accident that occurred Sunday afternoon in Montclair.

The two-vehicle crash was reported at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Monte Vista Avenue.

A 17-year-old was driving an SUV south on Monte Vista Avenue when they veered into the northbound lanes. The SUV then collided with a sedan driven by a 51-year-old woman.

The woman was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Four others suffered moderate injuries. A 14-year-old inside the SUV was killed in the crash.
