
Teen Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 10 Freeway Near Francisquito Avenue
20 People Involved in Fatal Baldwin Park Accident
Baldwin Park, CA (May 10, 2020) – A teen was killed and many others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Baldwin Park. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of May 10 on the 10 Freeway.
Angel Jesus Aragon, 32, was driving a tow truck on the eastbound 10 Freeway, near Francisquito Avenue. Aragon could not slow down in time and crashed into a Toyota Corolla with one person inside. He also rear-ended a Nissan Murano with five people inside. The Nissan collided into the center divider due to the impact. A Dodge Ram hit the side of the Nissan.
The Toyota Corolla was then pushed into a Kia Nero, and the Kia rear-ended a Honda Odyssey, which hit a Honda CRV. The CRV then hit a Toyota Corolla, which rear-ended a flatbed tow truck. A Lexus, unable to stop in time, then collided with a Nissan Murano.
A 13-year-old passenger in the Nissan was killed in the accident. Twenty people were involved in the crash. Involved parties were airlifted to a local hospital with minor to major injuries.
