Car Hits Girl in Fatal Colton Accident

Colton, CA (November 22, 2019) – A 14-year-old girl was killed when she was hit by a car in Colton. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of November 22 on N. Mt. Vernon Avenue.

The girl was crossing the street in the 1300 block of N. Mt. Vernon Avenue when she was hit by a car. The girl died from her injuries. The driver remained at the accident scene. The cause of the crash is unknown.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
