Lebec, CA (May 31, 2019) – A tow truck driver was killed in a hit and run crash in Lebec. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of May 31 at 5 Freeway at Vista del Lago Road.

The tow truck driver was on the side of the road changing a tire when he was hit by a big rig. The man died at the accident scene. The big rig fled the accident scene. CHP is looking for the truck.
