Man Suffers Chest Injuries in Fatal Fresno Accident

Fresno, CA (August 8, 2020) – An independent contractor was killed in an industrial accident in Fresno. The fatal incident occurred at around noon on August 8 on West California Avenue.

Emergency crews arrived at a job site in the 5300 block of West California Avenue and found Vance Fleming, 62, of Auberry, pinned underneath large logs. The tree logs had rolled off his truck, but it is unknown what he was doing before the accident. Fleming suffered chest injuries and died at the scene.
