NASCAR Announcer Wendy Venturini Injured in Novato Crash

Novato, CA (June 23, 2018) – Popular NASCAR announcer Wendy Venturini is recovering from a head injury after being hit by a car. The accident occurred on the morning of June 23 in Novato.

Venturini, age 39, was jogging near a parking lot in Novato when she was hit by a car. She suffered a concussion and skull fracture in the crash. She was taken to a local hospital, where she is awake and able to speak. Police have been in contact with the driver of the vehicle that struck Venturini.

Venturini is expected to make a full recovery. She should be released from the hospital soon. She was in Northern California this past weekend to cover Sunday’s Monster Energy Cup Series race in Sonoma.
