Woman, 2 Girls Killed After Car Crashes Into Home on Sam Avenue

Modesto, CA (June 9, 2019) – A woman and two children were killed when a man crashes into their Modesto home. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of June 9 on Sam Avenue.

Modesto resident Felix Ferdin, 46, was heading west on Holm Avenue and failed to stop at a stop sign. He was speeding when he went through a fence and backyard before crashing into a home in the 1200 block of Sam Avenue.

A woman and two girls, ages 3 and 5, were killed in the crash. A 10-year-old girl suffered major injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Ferdin suffered minor injuries. He was arrested for felony DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.
