Woman, Dog Killed in Crash at Mesa Drive and Irvine Avenue


Victim Hit by Sedan in Fatal Costa Mesa Accident 

Costa Mesa, CA (September 6, 2020) – A woman and her dog were killed in a hit and run crash in Costa Mesa. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of September 6 at Mesa Drive and Irvine Avenue.

A woman and her dog were in the crosswalk when they were hit by a sedan that ran a red light at the intersection. Both died in the crash. The vehicle fled the accident scene. The driver, identified as Ali Zohair Fakhreddine, 31, was later arrested for DUI.
