Napa, CA (July 10, 2019) – An elderly woman was injured after she was hit by a car in Napa. The accident occurred on the afternoon of July 10 at Soscol Avenue and Pear Tree Lane.

An 80-year-old Napa woman was hit by a car at the intersection. She suffered face and head injuries. The driver and a witness waited for emergency crews to arrive. The woman was taken to a local hospital. She is currently in critical condition.

PG&E Says It Knew Its Lines Could Spark Fires

PG&E Corp acknowledged in July 2019 that it has known for many years that its power lines could fail, sparking wildfires in the process. The acknowledgment came in a federal court filing which had been mandated by U.S. district judge William Alsup, who had ordered PG&E to respond to a Wall Street Journal article on a “paragraph-by-paragraph basis.”
