San Jose, CA (July 10, 2019) – A woman was injured after she was hit by a train in San Jose. The accident occurred on the morning of July 10 near Stokes Street and Southwest Expressway.

The woman was hit by a light rail VTA train near the intersection. The cause of the crash is unknown. The woman was injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment. VTA train service was temporarily shut down as police investigated.
