Woman Injured After Exiting Moving Vehicle on Highway 160 Near Del Paso Boulevard
Woman Hit by Car in Sacramento Accident
Sacramento, CA (November 16, 2019) – A woman was injured in a Sacramento crash after she allegedly jumped out of a moving vehicle. The accident occurred on the afternoon of November 16 on Highway 160.
The incident happened in the southbound lanes of Highway 160, near the Del Paso Boulevard exit. A man was driving a Jeep SUV when his wife, who was in the back seat, suddenly jumped out of the vehicle. The car behind them could not avoid hitting the woman.
The victim, an unidentified woman in her 30s, suffered major injuries. She is currently hospitalized in critical condition.
It is unknown why the woman opened the door and jumped out into traffic. Police do not believe she was pushed or forced out of the Jeep. Nobody is held responsible at this time. The Jeep will be taken into evidence.
